Right to Request Deletion

Customers, business clients, distributors, and website users may request deletion of personal information held by Mokaya.

Information Required

To protect customer privacy, deletion requests must include:

  • Full Name
  • Registered Email Address
  • Registered Mobile Number
  • Description of Request

Additional verification may be requested.

Situations Where Data May Not Be Deleted Immediately

Certain records may be retained where required for:

  • Tax obligations
  • Accounting compliance
  • Legal claims
  • Fraud prevention
  • Regulatory requirements

In such cases, the information may be restricted rather than deleted.

Deletion Process

Upon successful verification:

  1. Request is reviewed.
  2. Identity is confirmed.
  3. Eligible records are identified.
  4. Data is deleted or anonymized.
  5. Confirmation is provided.

Processing Time

Deletion requests are generally processed within 30 business days.

Account Deletion

If a customer account is deleted:

  • Login access is removed.
  • Saved addresses are deleted.
  • Marketing preferences are removed.
  • Personal profile information is deleted where legally permissible.

Order records may still be retained where required by law.
